FAQs

Virtual FAQs

  • Are Classes Suited to Beginners?

Yes!  We begin with the basic form of the exercise and gradually increase intensity. You choose the level right for you & your body.  If you have a specific health condition, come early to class to speak to the instructor or email the office. We encourage you to take class at your own pace and to grow with us, at a pace right for you.

  • How Do I Get to My Virtual Class?

We hold class in Zoom. Download the Zoom app/client under Resources on http://zoom.us. One to two hours before class, you will receive an email from no-reply@apiant.com if you have pre-registered. If you have signed up for a virtual workshop through your organization, your wellness coordinator will provide the link.  The email will have the click through link, meeting ID and password. If you sign up closer to the start time of class, we send out a final link 5-10 minutes before class begins. If you don't receive the link, it's likely being blocked by a spam filter, so email us or call us right away. Also, add marla@inwardoffice.com and no-reply@apiant.com to your safe contacts.

  • How Do I Know That I Am Registered?

A confirmation email is sent right after signing up. When your new account is created, you will also receive a new account email and a receipt of purchase. If you do not receive any of these emails you will still receive your link for class. If you want to check if you are registered, you can go into your Inward Office account, to the tab "My account" and see your schedule. During the set up of the account with Inward Office, if you disable reminders & schedule emails, you will not receive any of the confirmation emails.

  • Where Is My Link?

The link is emailed 1-2 hours before class begins. If you sign up within 1 hour of class your link will arrive 5-10 minutes before class starts. It comes from no-reply@apiant.com. We suggest you add these email addresses to your contacts list. Each week we have a different meeting ID and password. Pro tip: check spam and other filtering folders!

  • How Do I Get My Recording?

Recordings are sent after class ends to everyone who is registered for class, whether you attended or not. It is available to stream for the week between classes.  It comes from no-reply@apiant.com or marla@inwardoffice.com. In some cases, if a recording doesn't work, please do email us. Tech trouble does happen! If you are taking an exclusive workshop booked for your organization the recording may come automatically if you signed up in advance, or it may be internally posted by your wellness coordinator. Check your program details!

  • Can I Get Recordings for a Longer Period of Time?

There are on-demand recordings available for purchase. This option is also available with exclusive virtual wellness classes. Inquire with Inward Office or your wellness leader. We are happy to make accommodations for specific instances--our duty is to serve you and help you in your wellness journey!

  • What Does the Inward Office App Do?

It is a registration app. You can view the corporate or public schedule, easily register with one click, stay signed into your account, and add a calendar reminder in your time zone. Also for rapid sign up or cancellations,, this is the best method. Please note that this is the Inward Office app, not the Mindbody app, which does NOT have all of Inward Office’s programs on it.

Pro Tip: Make sure you "book" on the right tab/schedule. If you have an exclusive class or a one time workshop it will be on the workshop schedule.  If you are connecting through Paychex, look at the Paychex tab. If you are doing a daily fitness class through your organization it will be on the Live Virtual.  Contact us if you are uncertain!

  • Do You Have Music in Class?

Some instructors do use music, others do not. Look for Inward Office playlists on Spotify or

rock out to your favorite tunes! That’s a big benefit of virtual classes—your own playlist!

  • It’s Charging Me to Attend Class and My Employer Told Me Class Is for Free!

Make sure you are using the corporate promo code provided by your wellness leader. If you do not have the code, it is likely going to ask for payment.

Firstly, make sure you book on the right schedule indicated by your workplace, secondly, use the promo code during the check out process before you enter any CC information and it will make the class free.

Look for our YouTube video walk throughs if you have trouble or call us directly.

  • Virtual is new to me. What do I need to know?

For many of us we are trying virtual fitness for the first time! Firstly, consider what size screen you need. A computer or TV is best so that you can easily see the instructor. To connect the computer to the TV you need an HDMI cord.

Before and after class you may ask questions to the instructor. Or you can email the office. This is the best time to receive personalized instruction if you need variations for health limitations.

Your camera and sound will be off for the duration of class. The instructors will be on. If you encounter tech trouble, unless it's the instructor's audio or video, they will not be able to troubleshoot it for you. In that case, it's best to call our office to see if we can remedy any issues you are encountering. There are many factors like your internet speed, your device, the instructor's internet speed and device and we will do our best to figure out what will optimize your experience.

  • When I purchase a package of classes does it automatically book me?

When you purchase a pack of 5, 10, or unlimited classes, you are NOT automatically enrolled in class. You MUST to choose the individual classes you would like to attend. In other words, you may book a Pilates class on Mondays and pay using a 10 pack of classes. This will only sign you up for 1 class unless you specifically indicate a date range or contact our office to sign you up for a date range.

  • Can I have a re-occurring weekly reservation?

It is easy for us to book you for weekly reservations. Make sure you make a purchase using your credit card or corporate promo code in advance. Then we can sign you up for 3, 6, or 12 months at a time. If you would rather just email us, we are happy to be a concierge. If you are using a corp promo code, email us from your corporate email, indicate the promo code you are using, the classes, and dates and we can do it for you! If you are self-paying, make the purchase in advance or have your CC ready and call us.

  • I join class through my employer. I would like to invite a friend to class.

Our classes are open to the public, as well as available for corporate sponsorships. The majority of people who come to class join through their wellness program, but individuals who self-pay do also attend. We are happy to individually address this with an email or phone call to our office.

In-Person FAQs

When you are with a live teacher, it's best to tell them what support you need in class.
