How does the MELT Method work?
The connective tissue is a 25% fiber, 75% water matrix that holds our internal structure together, transmitting messages from the nervous system through its fluid content. It manages postural shifts, weight distribution, and receives even more information from the external environment than our five senses.
The connective tissue becomes dehydrated with age and normal movement habits. When the tissue is dehydrated is does not function at its optimal level and to improve its function we need to use a method of compression/release like the MELT Method to restore accurate communication of the sensory nerves within the body.
Dehydration then turns into inflammation and chronically stuck stress.
The good news is that HYDRATION IS A RENEWABLE RESOURCE and we have a great way to rehydrate to efficiently regulate the internal function of the body.
